Een gezin van vier. De vader lijkt een gebroken been te hebben. De moeder wisselt lachen en huilen af. De jongen speelt wilde autokaraoke, compleet met dansnummers. Zijn oudere broer heeft een mysterieuze trek op zijn gezicht. Hij staat op het punt Iran te verlaten en wordt vergezeld door zijn familie op deze afscheidsreis. Dierbare herinneringen aan het verleden worden afgewisseld met angsten voor de onbekende en onzekere toekomst: hoe kun je afscheid nemen?
